Back-to-Back Win! ISPSC’s bet crowned Ms. ASCU-SN 2023
In a stunning demonstration of agility, intellect, and resilience, Miss Delrio Dumawa, an enthusiastic faculty member from Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College-Main Campus, emerged victorious as Ms. ASCU-SN 2023 during the Search for Mr. & Ms. ASCU-SN 2023 held at Tarlac Agricultural University on June 28, 2023.
The Mr. & Ms. ASCU-SN pageant is a highly anticipated event that aims to foster camaraderie, celebrate the beauty and intelligence of the contestants, and promote strong relationships among higher education institutions in the Northern Philippines.
This year's theme, "Sulong Norte: Solidifying Northern Relationships through Games of Agility and Ingenuity," focused on embracing progress, unity, and collaboration among educational institutions through various games and challenges designed to test the contestants' agility and ingenuity.
The highlight of Miss Dumawa's journey to victory was her eloquent response during the question-and-answer portion. She emphasized the crucial role of resilience in overcoming adversity, highlighting the unity that emerged among the students, faculty, and staff as they stood together to support one another during this difficult time. Their collective determination to continue pursuing their dreams and upholding the university's mission showcased the strength and character of ISPSC.
Dumawa's victory as Ms. ASCU-SN 2023 symbolizes the power of resilience and unity in the face of adversity. It solidifies the institution's reputation as a powerhouse of talent, intelligence and resilience in the Northern Philippines. Undeniably, her success serves as an inspiration to others, reminding everyone of the incredible heights that can be reached through unwavering perseverance and the support of a strong institution.
This back-to-back win at the Ms. ASCU-SN pageant serves as a testament to the commitment and dedication of the faculty and students of ISPSC. The institution's focus on holistic education, empowering students and faculty to excel academically while nurturing their talents has proven to be a winning formula.
