ISPSC undergoes re-certification for Quality Management System
The Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) underwent re-certification for Quality Management System by SOCOTEC International on May 9-10, 2023.
The audit team from SOCOTEC International composed of Engineer Eugene Herradura, Engineer Laureen Grace Calmerin, Engineer Michael Matundan, Engineer Jet Diel, Engineer Fatima Mercurio, and Engineer Billy Sadangsal.
Processes to support the provision of of educational services covering teaching, learning, and support processes were the areas that were audited.
In the closing meeting, the audit team mentioned, "Therefore, Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College will be recommended for re-certification for Quality Management System..."
"Everything paid off. What was thought of to be impossible is now a reality. Thank you to all my colleagues for their dedication, sacrifices, and unwavering support! Thank you especially to our colleagues in the former NLPSC, now the ISPSC Main Campus, for embracing the challenge and for their commitment and desire to be ISO Certified!! Now, ISPSC is RE-CERTIFIED with the inclusion of the Main Campus!!! ... But one sure thing remains - ISPSC is CERTIFIED to be a quality institution," Dr. Gilbert R. Arce, SUC President III, articulated on his facebook post.#
