Abstract: This research study aimed to assess the extent of student learning engagement and mathematics performance of 211 Grade 11 learners in a public secondary school for the School Year 2022-2023. It sought to understand how various forms of academic support, including parent support, teacher support, and peer support, can influence students' learning engagement and subsequently impact their performance in Mathematics. The study employed a quantitative design. The learners received vital academic support from parents, teachers, and peers, resulting in active engagement and satisfactory math performance meeting expectations. While strong academic support bolstered learning engagement, students' performance in math was found to be unaffected by their engagement across behavioral, emotional, and cognitive aspects. The recommendations include encouraging ongoing support from parents, teachers, and peers for students' academic pursuits, promoting interactive learning among students, addressing weaker areas in math through remedial instruction and cooperative learning, and enhancing academic support programs. Additionally, it's suggested that future researchers replicate the study with a larger sample size or in different educational settings to validate and generalize the findings regarding factors affecting math performance.
