    NEWS ISPSC Main Campus prepares four programs for Level III Phase 2 accreditation

    In line with the scheduled Level III Phase 2 accreditation visit, the Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) Main Campus conducted an orientation for program focal persons today, August 4, at the RDETC Conference Hall. 

    Set for September 29 to October 1, the accreditation covers four academic programs: Bachelor of Arts in English Language, Bachelor of Science in Criminology, Bachelor of Science in Office Administration, and Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education major in Science.

    Dr. Jeanno Manzano, Campus Director of ISPSC Santa Maria Campus, provided an in-depth discussion on the mandatory and optional areas to be evaluated under Level III Phase 2. He emphasized the need for clear program outcomes, sustained improvements, and evidence of impact, drawing from recent accreditation trends and standards.

    Meanwhile, Dr. Emed Manzano, Director for Quality Assurance, guided the focal persons through the documentary requirements, highlighting common gaps and practical strategies to enhance compliance.

    Also present was Dr. Maribel Gagto, Chief of the Institutional, Government-Initiated, and International Accreditation / AUN Quality Assurance Unit.

    In 2022, ISPSC ranked third among the top-performing state colleges nationwide with the most number of programs awarded Level II accreditation by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. 

    AACCUP grants accreditation status to programs of state universities and colleges across the country through a rigorous and evidence-driven evaluation process.  (JGP)
