Audio-Visual Room, ISPSC Main-ISPSC conducted a general orientation on Republic Act (RA) 11032 and other Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) compliances, a kickoff activity of the seminar-workshop series on implementing the law, on September 11, 2024.
The Office of the Vice President for Administration and Finance and Internal Audit of ISPSC initiated this year's General Orientation on RA 11032 and other ARTA Compliance Seminar workshops. As part of the college's ARTA compliance activity, a series of seminar workshops will be conducted in partnership with the ARTA officials.
RA 11032 is known as the “Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018”. It is an act promoting ease of doing business and efficient delivery of government services, amending for the purpose RA 9485, otherwise known as the anti-red tape act of 2007, and for other purposes.
Furthermore, Section 17 of RA 11032 provides for the creation of the Anti-Red Tape Authority or ARTA, the government agency mandated to administer and implement the said law and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and to monitor and ensure compliance with the national policy on anti-red tape and ease of doing business in the country.
The kickoff activity highlighted ARTA's vision to streamline and digitalize the Philippine bureaucracy for effective, efficient, and inclusive service delivery. Its mission is to transform government services through a whole-of-nation approach, innovation, and good regulatory practices towards bureaucratic efficiency. The activity is essential to achieving transparency, efficiency, and accountability in ISPSC, and the participants' presence and active participation reflect their collective commitment to these ideals.#
