Sangguniang Panlungsod of Candon City recognizes ISPSC Main as top 6 performing school in Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers.
The Sangguniang Panlungsod of Candon City recognized, through a resolution, the Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) Main for its impressive achievement as the top 6 performing school in the Secondary Level category during the March 2024 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
The resolution was passed in a regular session of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, acknowledging the dedication and hard work of ISPSC’s faculty, staff, and students. “This achievement reflects the exceptional educational standards upheld at ISPSC - Main Campus and showcases the institution as a beacon of academic excellence in our province,” the resolution states.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) announced that 20,890 elementary teachers out of 44,764 examinees (46.67%) and 50,539 secondary teachers out of 85,980 examinees (58.78%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) on March 17, 2024, in 36 testing centers all over the Philippines.
As the college continues to excel, this recognition inspires current and future students and reinforces the importance of quality education and its impact on the community.
With this commendation, ISPSC Main is poised to continue its legacy of excellence in education, preparing dedicated and qualified professionals who will contribute significantly to the teaching profession and beyond.#
