4 CAFE faculty attend SUC-ACAP 2019 National Conference
Four faculty members of the College of Agriculture Forestry and Engineering (CAFE) of ISPSC attended the State Universities and Colleges - Association of Colleges of Agriculture in the Philippines (SUC-ACAP) annual convention in Visayas State University from May 22-24, 2019.
Together with their Poster paper entitled: Quality Seeds and Technologies: ISPSC' Nurturing Services to Empower Farmers and Students, Dr. Francisco N. Divina headed the delegation together with Dr. Armando D. Diga, Prof. Bernadette Calibuso, and Dr. Maribel Raguindin.
Dr. Diga and Dr. Raguindin were tasked in the instructional material and curriculum committee who works on the development of IEC material to be used by SUC offering agriculture program, while Dr. Divina and Prof. Calibuso were part of the capacity building committee who were tasked to formulate policies in the evaluation of research paper, poster paper presentations as well as different aspects of the research extension and production areas
CHED Chair Dr. J. Prospero E. De Vera III graced the event as keynote speaker for the opening program. The three day conference was anchored on the theme “Developing a Competitive Human Resource and Innovative Technologies for Sustainable Internationalization of Agriculture”.
