  • ISPSC ROTC ranks 3rd in Region 1, earns 96.6% outstanding rating in RAATI 2026

    The Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Unit secured third place among 13 State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in Region 1 during the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2026 held on April 15.

    The unit also garnered an outstanding rating of 96.6%, reflecting a high level of preparedness, discipline, and professionalism among cadets and their advisers.

    The recognition was conferred in a ceremony attended by ISPSC officials led by President Mario P. Obrero, together with Dr. Benny B. Derige, Director of the National Service Training Program (NSTP), and Dr. Jeanno M. Manzano, Campus Director of ISPSC Sta. Maria.

    Meanwhile, Col. Camilo A. Saddam, GSC (INF) PA, RAATI Chair for School Year 2025–2026, paid a courtesy visit to the college officials in acknowledgment of the institution’s support and cooperation in the successful conduct of the inspection.

    The ISPSC ROTC Unit is composed of cadets from the institution’s seven campuses, along with the NICOSAT force under the leadership of Dr. Jocelyn Galang, demonstrating the institution’s unified commitment to developing disciplined and service-oriented youth.

    The ROTC unit’s success continues to inspire the ISPSC community, affirming that excellence in military training and discipline thrives even in provincial institutions.
