  • Institution's Proud Legacy

    IN PHOTOS ISPSC President Dr. Mario Obrero graciously received the esteemed retirees of ISPSC Main Campus (formerly North Luzon Philippines State College and Candon Community College–University of Northern Philippines Branch) on May 21, 2025, acknowledging them as the pillars of the institution’s proud legacy.

    Led by Dr. Elizabeth M. Gacusana, former President of NLPSC, the visit brought together individuals who have played significant roles in shaping the history of the campus. Among them were Dr. Isabel A. Astrero, former Campus Dean of CCC–UNP Branch; Mrs. Marissa Llanes Mones, former HRMO of NLPSC; Ms. Nena Astrero, former faculty member of CBE (now CBME); Mrs. Cristina Martinez, former Registrar of CCC–UNP and NLPSC; Mrs. Nellie Manzano, former faculty member of CBE (now CBME); Mr. Efren Orpilla, former staff of the Registrar's Office; Prof. Luz Jimenez, former Dean of Teacher Education; Dr. Andres T. Malinnag Jr., former Dean of CTE; and Dr. Samson Nisperos, former Director of Extension and Student Affairs.

    Dr. Obrero expressed his sincere gratitude for their years of service and reaffirmed his commitment to involving the retirees as valuable partners in shaping the future of ISPSC, soon to become the University of Ilocos Philippines (UIP).
