  • Future ISPSC infrastructure plans move to initial site assessment

The Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) continues to strengthen its institutional infrastructure planning as ISPSC President Mario P. Obrero, together with members of the College’s top management, led initial inspections, assessed potential sites, and conducted ocular visits across the different campuses on September 8 and 16, 2026.

For the Main Campus, the focus includes repair and renovation of school buildings and other infrastructures. For Candon Campus, the visit targets the rehabilitation of the Science laboratory, while for Sta. Maria Campus is the relocation of the food park and renovation of the main gate. Meanwhile, the Tagudin Campus includes the completion of the Senior High School Building, construction of Second Phase of Drainage Canal, provision of Psychology Laboratory and Counseling Room.

The site visit brought together key officials involved in administration, planning, infrastructure, and financial management, highlighting ISPSC’s integrated approach to assessing proposed infrastructure projects and aligning them with the College’s strategic priorities.

Joining President Obrero were Dr. Filipinas M. Gasalao, Vice President for Finance and Administration; Dr. Dominador A. Ayson Jr., Chief Administrative Officer; Dr. Francisco N. Divina, Director for Institutional Planning; and Engr. Ricky A. Molina, Director for Physical Infrastructure Development.

The ocular visit and inspection aligns with the College’s commitment to modernize the institution's infrastructure under the Onwards UIP framework to better serve the ISPSC community. (MVB)
