Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) is proud and deeply honored to announce that Ms. Ailene Joven, College Librarian II of ISPSC Main Campus has been selected to represent the institution for the International Staff Mobility (ISM) 2024 program. This remarkable opportunity, hosted by Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Surabaya, Indonesia, takes place from October 7-11, 2024. It is noted that this is the third event that ISPSC personnel and students have joined the on-site mobility and training programs at ITS following the Faculty Internationalization Global Training Program attended by Ms. Maria Ana N. Ilagan, the ISPSC Internationalization and Networking Officer and Dr. Geremy Sanchez, Cervantes Campus Internationalization Coordinator on July 9-11, 2024; and the Student Mobility Program participated by two (2) students - Hon. Alvin Jay Tobias, Student Trustee and Ms. Mary Grace Pagaduan, Student Council Management Staff, respectively.
As part of this international program, Ms. Joven is joining non-teaching staff from renowned institutions around the world, with the following countries and institutions:
Stanis?aw Staszic State University of Applied Sciences in Pi?a, Poland
Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry (HCMUAF) Vietnam

The ISM 2024 is a fully funded scholarship that covers all expenses, including accommodation, meals, and local transportation, generously provided by ITS. The only expense participants need to shoulder is the cost of airfare. This initiative aims to provide non-academic staff—such as administrative personnel, lab technicians, and librarians—with the chance to gain valuable insights and expertise in their fields, fostering international collaboration and professional growth.
ISPSC is thrilled to have Ms. Joven take part in this exceptional learning experience; further, elevating the college's global presence and commitment to academic and professional excellence.
