  • ISPSC campuses launch Intramurals, gear up for Intercampus, SCUAA 1 and PASUC 1 2027

    Guided by the theme “Strength in Unity, Pride in Victory,” student-athletes across the seven campuses of the Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) are gearing up for the upcoming Inter-Campus Intramurals 2026, as well as the State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA) 1 and Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) 1 Meets, as campus-based intramurals officially commenced today, September 23, 2026.

    The campus-level competitions provide student-athletes with opportunities to sharpen their skills, build team chemistry, and demonstrate sportsmanship as they prepare for the upcoming Inter-Campus Intramurals and, eventually, represent the College in the SCUAA 1 and PASUC 1 Meet in 2027, which will be hosted by ISPSC.

    The Main, Candon, Sta. Maria, Santiago, Tagudin, Cervantes, and Narvacan campuses are holding their respective intramural activities from September 23 to 25, featuring various sporting events and cultural competitions that showcase students’ athletic abilities, creativity, and talents.

    Each campus is kicking off its respective intramurals with a series of opening activities, including parades, opening programs, and fun runs, bringing student-athletes and campus communities together ahead of the competitions.

    As the campus-based competitions unfold over the next 3 days, participating athletes will have the opportunity to gain valuable competitive experience and demonstrate their readiness for the upcoming sporting and cultural events.

    Anchored on this year’s theme, the intramurals highlight how campus pride and the pursuit of victory go hand in hand with teamwork and solidarity, values that extend beyond the playing field and contribute to a stronger ISPSC community. (PAJ)
