    ISPSC Signs MOA with ASIST for Academic Collaborations

    The Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) and the Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology (ASIST) forged a memorandum of agreement (MoA) on May 8, 2025 to formally establish their commitment to academic collaborations.

    Signed by ISPSC President Dr. Mario P. Obrero and ASIST President Dr. Gregorio T. Turqueza Jr., the partnership aims to foster scholarly ventures through shared expertise and strategic hiring of adjunct faculty members.

    In his message, Dr. Obrero expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, describing the MoA signing as “just the beginning of a journey toward realizing the shared aspirations of both institutions—one of which is the transition to university status as the University of Ilocos Philippines and the University of Abra”.

    Meanwhile, Dr. Turqueza affirmed their commitment to make the partnership successful.

Absolor, Dean, Graduate School of ISPSC Sta. Maria Campus; Dr. Maribel Raguindin, Program Head of MSA Animal Science; Dr. Armando Diga, Dean of the College of Agriculture, Forestry, Engineering, and Development Communication (CAFED) of ISPSC Sta.Maria Campus; and Dr. Dina Tadeo, faculty member of the College of Agriculture in ASIST witnessed the signing ceremony.
