    ISPSC President visit Cervantes Campus, engages in consultative dialogue with employees and students

    Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) President Dr. Mario P. Obrero visited the ISPSC Cervantes Campus on May 14, 2025, for a consultative meeting with the faculty, staff, and students. This visit was a key part of his ongoing commitment to strengthening relationships across all ISPSC campuses in line with his strategic plan to foster a more unified and engaged academic community.

    Dr. Obrero was joined by Dr. Christian C. Gandeza, Special Assistant to the President; Dr. Cynthia Cariño, Executive Assistant; Dr. Ryan Victor Abaya, Director of Sports Development; Dr. Alejandrino Delos Santos, Director of Security Services; Mr. Gilbert Domingo, Head of Security for the Main Campus; Dr. Joemar Cabradilla, Dean of Student Services; and Hon. Alvin Tobias, Federated SSC President.

    The ISPSC Cervantes Community led by Dr. Heidi Joy P. Bautista, Campus Director, welcomed the guests with a traditional cultural performance by students, showcasing the region’s indigenous music and dance.

    During the open forum, various concerns were raised by students and faculty, particularly on the immediate and long-term needs of the campus. Dr. Obrero assured the community that these matters will be prioritized under his leadership and reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive and equitable development across all campuses through his administration’s guiding principle: “No Campus Left behind.”
