  • ISPSC, Candon CG host tour for delegates of National Physics Convention

    As part of the 48th National Physics Convention-Workshop/Seminar, delegates from various State Universities and Colleges and Higher Education Institutions across the country participated in a city tour hosted by the City Government of Candon through the initiative of City Mayor Eric D. Singson, earlier today.

    The city tour served as one of the highlights of the national convention organized by the Philippine Physics Society (PPS) in partnership with Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) and the City Government of Candon via its Tourism Office, providing participants the opportunity to explore the rich culture, heritage, and notable landmarks of Candon City.

    Through the activity, delegates were able to experience the city’s hospitality while strengthening camaraderie and collaboration among members of the scientific and academic community.

    The convention, anchored on the theme “PPS@52: A Quantum Leap into the Future: Empowering Communities Through Physics Education, Research, and Application,” aimed to promote physics education, research, and innovation for community development. (Paul Uno, STRATCOM)
