ISPSC strengthens global presence through GSDC 2026 in Indonesia
The Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College continues to strengthen its global presence through the participation of ISPSC President Mario P. Obrero in the Global Sustainable Development Congress (GSDC) 2026 being held at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition in BSD City, Jakarta, Indonesia on June 22-25, 2026.
GSDC is one of the world's premier gatherings dedicated to advancing sustainable development through collaboration among higher education institutions, governments, industries, and civil society.
The event was organized by Times Higher Education (THE), publisher of the THE World University Rankings and Impact Rankings, which brought together more than 5000 delegates from over 120 countries to forge partnerships and accelerate progress toward a sustainable future.
Under the leadership of President Obrero, the College has expanded its global partnerships, strengthened its internationalization agenda, and gained increasing recognition in international higher education rankings. Through this, ISPSC reaffirms its commitment to contributing to global sustainable development efforts while advancing its vision of becoming a smart globally competitive and locally responsive state university.
