Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College joined the University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP) Philippines Annual Conference 2025, themed "Strategizing Direction Towards PHEIs Internationalization: The UMAP Way" at the Commission on Higher Education Central Office on February 26, 2025. Dr. Christine N. Ferrer, Director IV of CHED Regional Office 1 and Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the President of ISPSC, was one of the resource speakers. For the first time in its history, the Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) held a Special Consultative Meeting with a Commissioner from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). The meeting was made even more significant by the fact that CHED Commissioner Shirley C.
