ISPSC secures ISO 9001:2015 Certification, advances a culture of quality and continuous improvement

The Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College has been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 Certification by SQC Certification Services Pvt. Ltd., certifying that the College has successfully undergone a comprehensive audit and meets the international requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS), with the scope of provision of educational services covering teaching, learning and support processes (tertiary and graduate school education), August 11, 2026. 

ISPSC’s ISO 9001:2015 certification covers the provision of educational services, including teaching, learning, and support processes for tertiary and graduate school education across its seven campuses.

ISPSC President Dr. Mario P. Obrero formally received the award together with Dr. Filipinas M. Gasalao, Vice President for Finance and Administration; Dr. Jonathan L. Dela Cruz, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Jocelyn L. Absolor, Vice President for Research, Development and Extension; Dr. Dominador A. Ayson, Jr., Chief Administrative Officer; Mr. Kris Kringle T. Lopez, Director of Quality Assurance; Dr. Sheryl S. Morata, Campus Director of the Main Campus; Dr. Francisco N. Divina, Director for Institutional Planning; Dr. Maribel M. Gagto, Chief of the Institutional Government-Initiated Accreditation Unit; and Mr. Charles Janzen J. Rosario, Chief of the International Accreditation and ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance Unit.

This achievement is a testament to ISPSC’s continued commitment to quality, excellence, and continuous improvement, bringing the College one step closer to becoming the University of Ilocos Philippines (UIP). (EMQT)
